I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over a decade of experience and proud RICS accreditation, forming the bedrock of my property mentoring approach. My career has encompassed some of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects, including Crossrail and HS2. This experience has allowed me to hone my skills in managing large-scale developments and gaining invaluable insights across a diverse range of property investment strategies.
My property mentoring expertise spans diverse strategies including Commercial to Residential conversions, new build schemes, HMOs (Houses in Multiple Occupation), and serviced accommodation. My true passion and core specialization, however, lie in Commercial to Residential conversions under Permitted Development and optimizing HMO property investment strategies. Over the years, I’ve successfully transformed offices, banks, and shops into high-performing hybrid Commercial to Residential / HMO developments, strategically combining both approaches for maximum property returns
Currently, I lead all development projects with Savoys Properties and manage my own extensive Commercial to Residential and HMO property portfolio. Beyond hands-on development, I am deeply passionate about sharing my property investment knowledge as a frequent contributor to the RICS Journal, CIOB, blogs, and other property publications. My ongoing property mentorship aims to empower others in the property sector by providing actionable insights and fostering growth through tailored guidance.
More recently, I was honoured to receive the Mixed Use Development of the Year award at the International Property Awards 2024 for a Hybrid Commercial to Residential / HMO scheme and Property Developer of the Year at the Property Investor Awards 2024 for a Permitted Development Commercial to Residential scheme. These accolades reflect my commitment to delivering innovative and impactful developments.
